The old brake master cylinder is being replaced by a remanufactured Beck Arnely master cylinder that I purchased on ebay for $135 inc. shipping. A new set of high pressure lines are on its way, from our fellow Jag-Lover Mr. David Boger from EveryDay XJ

After further investigation, I realised that the plastic rings are meant to be squeezed into the holes in the new cylinder and the white moulded plugs on the old cylinder are meant to be removed and squished into the black plastic rings.
